As it stands now, Tim Tebow is the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos, at least going into training camp later this year. However, even as John Elway (Bronco’s team president) made the statement, he seem to do so reluctantly. Mind you, this was only Tebow’s second pro season and I think he did well, better than some that become great quarterbacks. But Tebow is different than Elway, and maybe that is the problem for Elway. He wants another version of himself. But he needs to let Tebow be Tebow. I believe Tebow can be a great quarterback. I liked him when he was a Gator. Elway should remember that in his early NFL career, he was not a standout quarterback. He had to work and earn that. Tebow can do the same.
