willie-randolph.jpgAt least, that is what Tom Hanks said! But maybe the NY Mets did not see that movie. It’s possible. Not only were the fans upset and crying, but they are angry. This team appeared to have it all in the bag, being 17 games up, they choked and lost 12 of the next 17 games. And the last game on Sat. was one of the worst. And then the meltdown, the crying. And not just from the fans. From the Mets Manager, Willie Randolph. Many thought he would get fired, but it was announced today that Randolph would stay with the Mets for at least another season. But, the Mets are off now until Spring Training. Maybe they can catch up on their movies. I suggest A League of Their Own and stop the crying!
